Curalate Unveils Like2Buy Instagram Analytics Tool

Visual analytics platform Curalate has launched a new tool called Like2Buy, to help brands attribute site traffic and purchases to items they have posted on photo-sharing social media site Instagram.

Apu GuptaCuralate was launched with an exclusive focus on Pinterest, but has since extended its reach to cover the content of other sites. Its image-analytics algorithms and marketing tools have been designed to understand visual conversations, increase fan engagement, and grow revenue across Instagram, Tumblr, Facebook and Pinterest.

The new tool Like2Buy enables social media marketers to link photos from a brand's Instagram account to products available on that brand's e-commerce site. Using the brand's profile link on Instagram, a user is then able to pull up a gallery of 'shoppable' Instagram photos and click through to purchase the products on the brand's web site. Additionally, consumers can view a personalized feed of the product photos they've liked that are also available for purchase.
