Adobe Launches 'Intelligence Location' Service

November 20 2014

Software giant Adobe has launched a new product called Intelligence Location Marketing, allowing companies to engage their customers with relevant content and messages based on their proximity to iBeacons.

Suresh VittalBluetooth-enabled iBeacons can be positioned in any retail location, and when a smartphone comes in range, can be used to send content such as a relevant discount or reward to a user's screen. Sitting within the Adobe Marketing Cloud, the new service helps marketers deliver location-based in-app messages to drive consumer engagement, and then follow them up with e-mail campaigns that use intelligence about a customer's past interactions in a retail store, sports stadium, or other external location. The system also features a dashboard for real-time mobile app testing, which enables marketers to view all their app data on one screen.

VP, Digital Marketing Suresh Vittal (pictured) comments: 'With Intelligent Location Marketing we are delivering new, innovative ways for marketers to engage customers and prospects across mobile screens. The tight integration of our six marketing cloud solutions allows Adobe to enable consistent, cross-channel experiences that keep the individual interests of customers in mind, regardless of the device they are using.'
