AMR Hires Two for Senior Team

In Australia, research consultancy AMR has hired Dorothy Dudley as Qualitative Director and Nick Deverson as Group Account Director.

AMR focuses on customer experience, corporate reputation, communication development and evaluation, shopper research, and product and service development across a range of Australian markets. Last October, WPP upped its stake in AMR's former owner STW Communications, then bought a controlling stake to create the newly merged business known as WPP AUNZ, of which AMR is a part.

Dudley joins with more than twenty years' senior research experience. Most recently, she was Qualitative Research Director at Ipsos, in charge of social trend insights offer The Mind & Mood Report (previously The Mackay Report). Earlier, she worked for Nielsen, Sweeney Research (now EY Sweeney), L'Estrange Research, and Reark Research. In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing and developing the qual offering, and enhancing the firm's existing qual expertise and capabilities.

Deverson has worked in market, social and economic research for eighteen years. He joins after serving as MD of IT MR consultancy Code Market Research, prior to which he co-owned technology-focused market research firm Capitalis, and he spent ten years spent as a researcher and analyst with the Australian Bureau of Statistics. At AMR, Deverson will head a team responsible for key accounts, with a focus on the Australian technology industry.
