Visible Measures Debuts Video Viewing Forecaster

July 22 2016

US-based video analytics firm Visible Measures has launched a feature called the Industry Forecaster, which predicts video viewership trends for specific industries, up to 28 days into the future.

Brian ShinVisible Measures provides metrics which help clients measure video consumption and viral distribution, along with Fabric, a video and native ad targeting platform. The new Industry Forecaster feature forms part of the firm's True Reach Planner video benchmarking and planning tool, and allows users to plan and execute their video marketing strategies with an eye on competitor performance, market category activity, and overall market 'noise'. This capability is powered by the firm's proprietary dataset, comprising five trillion data points from more than 500 videos across 240 industry verticals.

Potential uses include deciding whether to hold or pause a video campaign to capture more views; and gauging how much additional spend is needed to get more views than the competition.

CEO Brian Shin (pictured) says the tool 'gives advertisers the power to use past, present and future data to make effective media buying decisions and run the most influential campaigns possible'.
