Food Innovation Agency Launched in London

In London, a new innovation agency has been opened by Calum Watson, Marco-Pierre White’s former Executive Head Chef and Director of Operations; and marcoms specialist Greg Wixted. The Food Nursery will provide NPD and new ideas research to the food industry.

Cooking up new ideas...Described as ‘the birthplace for new ideas’, their firm has already established a panel of industry experts to provide feedback on creative food thinking and idea generation to brands and retails firms.

Panel members include chefs, foods scientists, health writers and sporting experts who are available to research, appraise or help develop new products or business ideas.

Working alongside these industry experts are ‘Culinary Innovators’ such as TV cook Nancy Lam, health writer Rob Kemp, master baker Amar Shibane, nutritionist Fiona Hunter and former Hell’s Kitchen maitre d’ Nick Munier.

In addition, a team of ‘Culinary Thinkers’ – including brand language analytics expert Alistair Herbert and food marketer Dylan Watkins – work alongside the panel to develop restaurant and retail food concepts.

‘We’ve created a global network of recognisable, award winning and qualified chefs, food scientists, demonstrators, food writers, critics and consumer insight experts, so we know we have the very best people innovating on our client’s behalf,’ stated Wixted.
