User Vision Opens Office in Dubai

September 13 2010

UK-based user experience consultancy User Vision has opened an office in Dubai, to service clients in the Middle East and North Africa.

Chris RourkeLaunched in 2000, Edinburgh-based User Vision specialises in usability testing, web accessibility and advertising response testing, including expertise in eye tracking.

Last year, the firm unveiled a new service to allow global clients to watch focus groups and user tests sessions carried out at its HQ, live from their own offices.

User Vision has been active in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region for four years, working with leaders in the travel, tourism and e-commerce sectors, as well as financial services firms and government bodies.

The new team, which will be led by founder and MD Chris Rourke, will target commercial and public sector organisations.

Testing in Arabic and English, Rourke says that User Vision has developed an understanding of the cultural complexities and nuances needed to deliver user-centred design research and analysis in the region.

'We are thrilled to have a presence in Dubai to serve clients in the region,' states Rourke. 'Adoption of the Internet is rapidly increasing in the GCC region and our track record here gives us a great opportunity to help organisations create intuitive and persuasive user experiences.'
