Branding Specialists Launch New UK Agency

In the UK, branding specialists Simon Coker and Nick Burrows have launched Brand Spirit - a new agency which will connect internal and external brand building, while profiling customers' attitudes, motivations and behaviours.

Simon Coker and Nick BurrowsCoker is the original founder of Coker Brand Design, and previously worked on many leading brands such as Tango, Channel 4 and the Cartoon Network.

Burrows was previously MD of leisure club group Nuffield Health, Fitness & Wellbeing where he led the re-brand from its previous incarnation as Cannons Health Clubs. Before this, he led the Holmes Place Health Clubs brand before the firm was sold to Virgin.

The pair's new Brentwood, Essex-based agency will research among both internal stakeholders and external customers. Using qual and quant techniques, the firm says it can establish a client's customer profile, and examine and refine the definition of secondary customer groups.

Services on offer also include a programme to engage and energise teams around the potential of brand influence; and a method which connects brand values and essence into the 'people agenda' - including employee profiles, induction and training, internal comms and performance appraisal.
