PRS Partners in Latin America

US-based packaging research and eye-tracking specialist Perception Research Services International (PRS) has announced a strategic partnership with Latin American firm Provokers, which has offices in Buenos Aires, São Paulo and Mexico City.

Provokers consists of two business units: Insights & Analytics, which offers qual and quant research, semiotics and advanced modelling; and idea generation and assessment wing Brand & Business Innovation.

PRS says the deal will help it service clients in Latin America, giving it stronger local expertise and presence for its services, including virtual shopping, neuroscience and in-store and mobile eyetracking.

PRS President Scott Young says his firm has worked successfully with the team at Provokers - including Gustavo Lohfeldt, Alexandre Catelan and Pierre Cohen - for many years, and adds: 'Our clients are increasingly global in scope - and they are looking for both consistent methodologies across markets - and local knowledge and client servicing.'

Provokers CEO Alexandre Catelan says the deal will give his firm 'exciting new products and services to broaden our offerings and deepen our insights', and his clients 'a 360 degree solution, which begins with concept testing all the way to final package validation prior to launch'.
