Holden Pearmain Hires Former TNS MD Gavoyannis

UK agency Holden Pearmain has appointed former TNS MD Dr Tacis Gavoyannis as head of its Consumer Division. Also joining the firm are FMCG specialist David Beech, methodologist Svetlana Gogolina and qual researcher Wei Wei Yang.

Tacis GavoyannisSince 2006, Gavoyannis (pictured) has led his own consultancy, TPG, focusing on the technology and media industries. For the five years prior to this, he served as Global MD of TNS' Technology practice, with full responsibility for the tech sector globally. During his career, he has also held senior level roles with RR Donnelley, Motorola, Cable & Wireless, Thomas de La Rue and BT.

In his new position at Holden Pearmain, Gavoyannis will provide senior input to key client relationships.

Beech joins the firm with ten years' FMCG and retail research experience gained at IRI and Synovate, where he focused on the design and marketing of syndicated studies. His new role will focus on helping develop the new Consumer Team.

Gogolina has re-joined Holden Pearmain as Director in the Advanced Methods Team, having previously worked as a methodologist at Kantar Health. MD David Holden comments: 'It's great to have someone as experienced and client-focused back on our team.'

Finally, Yang joins the Qualitative team, from Brand Health International, where she gained experience across all the major therapy areas.
