Full service agency MRSS India has appointed former Intel exec Shivanand Shenoy as Senior Director, Client Servicing, in charge of its IT, online and FMCG verticals, and to lead its new 'Digital Research' service.
MRSS India was launched in February by Asian firm Majestic MRSS and former Nielsen MD Sarang Panchal, to offer Indian marketers local access to technology for consumer insight generation.
Shenoy (pictured) joins from Intel Corporation, where for the past four years he served as Asia Pacific Manager of Insights and Market Research. Prior to this, he was Regional Market Research Manager for DHL Express (Singapore), Research & Planning Manager at DHL Express India, and Market Research Manager at Indian conglomerate Reliance Industries. He began his research career at Nielsen, where he worked for seven years, and latterly served as Associate Research Director, involved in setting up the agency's FMCG Retail Audits.
Commenting on the appointment, Panchal said: 'We know Shivanand through his work and contribution to the market research industry in India, as well as abroad. His knowledge, associations and active presence in the industry will contribute to making MRSS India a brand with global technological leadership and hyper-local understanding.'
