Collard Promoted in Morrisons Restructure

UK supermarket chain Morrisons has promoted Marketing and Operations Director Nick Collard to the new role of Group Marketing and Customer Director. He will join the management board in June.

Morrisons RestructuresCollard will oversee areas including marketing, insight, loyalty and customer relationship management, and will report to CEO Dalton Philips. After joining the supermarket in late 2011 from a brand development role at Boots, he spent six months as Commercial Director, Ambient and Frozen and was then promoted to Marketing and Operations Director.

Former Commercial Director Richard Hodgson has left the firm and his role has been split into two, with Group Trading Director Casper Meijer taking on the other half. Meanwhile Belinda Youngs is promoted to Corporate Brand Marketing Director and will report to Collard.
