Aegis Research Re-brands as Synovate
June 13 2002

Aegis Research has chosen the name 'Synovate' as its new brand according to a recent announcement from CEO Adrian Chedore. Over the next six months, the network's individual companies will retain their original names while endorsing the new brand. The change-over should be complete by January 2003.

Aegis Research is currently the ninth largest research firm in the world, as reported in the 2001 Global Honomichl Report. Last year, it enjoyed revenues of £185 million (equating to a third of Aegis Group plc's total revenues) and employed nearly 3,000 staff. It also spent much of 2001 standardising its methodologies, sharing best practices and streamlining its structure.

'Having the single, global name Synovate communicates the fact that we are now one company, sharing a common corporate identity and unified vision,' Chedore said. 'It will help us further leverage the power of our marketing research solutions on a global basis.'
