Blueocean Debuts Seasonal Shopping Analytics

In the US, consumer research and analytics firm Blueocean Market Intelligence has launched an event-based retail intelligence solution, to provide analysis of major seasonal shopping events.

Kumar MehtaThe firm, which is part of the Cross-Tab group of companies, focuses on market intelligence, social media and data analytics and operates from offices in Phoenix, Seattle and Bangalore, India.

The new 'Retail Intelligence on Demand' tool has been developed to obtain data around specific annual shopping events such as Black Friday or the Christmas holiday shopping season - and then deliver post-season analysis to help retailers evaluate their successes and problems during these times.
