Business advisory firm Deloitte has acquired data-driven digital and social media agency Banyan Branch, whose offer includes social media analytics and insights, community management, and digital creative. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Seattle-based Banyan Branch was founded in 2007 to advise clients on their social media, viral and blog-related marketing. Following the acquisition, founders Alex Garcia, Dave Hanley and Alicia Hatch will continue in leadership roles within full-service digital agency Deloitte Digital.
In a statement, Deloitte said the acquisition is a continuation of its strategy to offer clients access to a full-suite of digital marketing services, bolstered by its business and technology services and capabilities.
