Marketing Insights Agency Voccii Opens in US

US marketers Gayle Ireland and Nancy Irwin have launched their own marketing insights agency Voccii, offering market research, branding, and sports sponsorship results tracking services.

Gayle Ireland and Nancy IrwinEarly in their careers, the pair worked together at power provider Duke Energy, where Ireland managed an eleven-person team, responsible for all customer-focused market research, and Irwin held a range of senior roles across employee communications, media relations, and strategic planning. Ireland then ran her own full-service market research consultancy, offering quant, qual and secondary research, and most recently, Irwin worked at brand and marketing firm Clear Blue, where she led the Branding and PR practice.

Their new Charlotte, NC-based firm offers all forms of market research, a proprietary method for branding and strategy development, communications services, and a sports sponsorship research approach called FanMetrics.

Irwin comments: 'Too often, we have found clients diving into tactical programs, without any information about their consumer. We have seen campaigns with no strategic basis that ultimately do not sell products, and we see companies trying to be all things to all market segments because they have not focused their brand or their core target. That's where we come in.'
