Added Value Drops Oracle Name in China

January 2 2014

China-based brand development and marketing insight consultancy Oracle Added Value is to adopt the global brand name and logo of Added Value.

Now part of the global brand...Oracle Market Research Holdings Ltd was founded in 1994, and acquired by WPP's Kantar almost a decade ago. Headquartered in Hong Kong, with offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, the firm was immediately rebranded as Oracle Added Value, within the global Added Value group.

Katie McClintock, CEO of Added Value Greater China, says the firm has recently been building its marketing consulting capability with a team of 10 marketing consultants in Greater China, thereby broadening its offer to clients in China and the Asia region. She adds: 'The launch of the new name further aligns us with the Group's strategic development and business needs, creating a unified and engaging brand presence, and marks a new chapter of growth for Added Value Greater China.' A month ago, Added Value appointed Kenneth Lee as Managing Director for China.

The rebrand will not affect senior management, personnel and ownership. Added Value now has seventeen locations in eleven different countries and is online at www.added-value.com .
