US testing and monitoring firm Keynote Systems has acquired Belgium-based Meucci Solutions, which offers mobile fraud detection and quality-of-service monitoring. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Keynote, which provides testing, monitoring and measurement products and services across online portals and sites, mobile operators and infrastructure providers, was itself acquired
by private equity firm Thoma Bravo last August. Meucci Solutions will now become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Keynote, reporting to German telecoms testing subsidiary Keynote SIGOS.
Meucci CEO Peter Brotherton (pictured) comments: ‘Joining forces with Keynote provides us with the size and strength to continue to innovate in the areas of mobile fraud detection and measuring quality-of-service. This acquisition is great validation of the company we have built over the past ten years, from the quality of our solutions to the extensiveness of our network platform and expertise of our people.’
