Beyond Analysis Hires for 'Quick and Easy' Push

April 10 2014

UK-based behavioural insights firm Beyond Analysis has appointed Sophie Neary as Group Chief Commercial Officer, responsible for taking the business from a consultancy-led to a product-focused enterprise with the launch of its new DIY 'Quick & Easy' insight platform.

Sophie NearyFounded in 2007 by former dunnhumby directors Paul Alexander and William Beresford, Beyond Analysis uses transaction data to provide clients with a holistic view of their customers' lives. Its Customer DNA (C-DNA) solution enables businesses to translate lifestyle, demographic, and affluence measures into consumer segments, while its Valve service offers customer grouping based on value and engagement with the brand. The firm has offices in London, Singapore, Sydney and Cape Town, and is part-owned by Visa Europe.

Neary (pictured) joins with a background that has included managing two Internet start-ups - JCP, sold to Sun Microsystems in 2000, and BeatThatQuote.com, which was acquired by Google in 2011. Most recently, she ran her own consultancy, working with high profile companies on their multi-channel and multi-platform strategies and solution development programmes. In her new role, Neary will lead all commercial activities across Europe, and is tasked with developing a team designed to achieve 'ambitious' growth targets.

Alexander comments: 'We're working with some major players in the marketplace on our new business intelligence platform, and are pretty confident that there's nothing out there that comes close to Quick & Easy. Sophie is therefore absolutely the right person to lead the charge in disrupting the data analytics marketplace with this cracking new proposition.'
