San Francisco-based audience measurement and digital advertising firm Quantcast has promoted former Yahoo! exec Matt White to Managing Director of its UK operation, replacing Phil Macauley who has moved up to the position of EMEA MD.
Quantcast provides web site owners with traffic, demographic, lifestyle, business and geographic audience data, to help them understand and profile their best customers, and target similar prospects across the web. Earlier this month, the company added
a new feature, Audience Interests, to its Quantcast Measure product, making it ‘the first free measurement tool to provide mobile app publishers with detailed insight into their audience's web browsing behaviour’.
Prior to joining in 2012 as Director, Agency Sales, White (pictured) spent four years as Director of Mobile and Online Advertising at Yahoo!, responsible for all display and search business for WPP agencies. Prior to that, he was Head of Mobile Sales at Channel 4.
In his new role, White will manage Quantcast’s UK operations, and is tasked with increasing UK revenue and doubling the number of staff in the London office. Macauley
says White has a ‘refreshing and enthusiastic take on sales strategy’ while also assuring that current clients ‘remain top priority’.
