Deutsch LA Hires Houldsworth to Lead Data Strategy

US-based full service ad agency Deutsch LA has appointed analytics specialist Duncan Houldsworth as Executive Director of Data Strategy, in charge of the firm's Analytics team.

Duncan HouldsworthHouldsworth (pictured) joins with more than eighteen years' experience gained in both the UK and the US. Most recently, he was a Principal at Strategy Consulting, prior to which he was VP - Marketing Insights at Time Warner Cable, where he had previously served as VP - Analytics and Competitive Intelligence. Before this, Houldsworth was Global Head of Marketing Analytics at Hall & Partners, and he held senior roles at IRI, Simmons Market Research Bureau, Applied Geographic Solutions, and Experian.

In his new position, Houldsworth will lead Deutsch LA's multi-disciplinary team, and deliver innovative approaches to digital analytics and marketing science. He reports to agency Partner Kyle Acquistapace, who comments: 'Duncan is incredibly unique among analytics people. His background spans from hard-core modeling and business intelligence to more general market research. He has an amazingly broad view of the business - yet he can also get under the hood of advanced analytics.'
