Lightspeed GMI Hires Emma Beech for European Ops Role

In the UK, WPP-owned digital data collection specialist Lightspeed GMI has hired former Research Now ops exec Emma Beech for the newly created role of Vice President, Operations EMEA, overseeing its operations teams in Europe.

Beech (pictured) joins with more than 24 years of MR industry experience. Most recently she worked at Research Now, where she initially served as Director, Service Delivery, responsible for the UK Project Management team comprising 84 members, and later became VP, Operations EMEA. Prior to this, she was a Senior Director at WPP-owned Kantar Operations, having worked earlier as Field Director - Head of Mystery Shopping at TNS (prior to its acquisition by WPP); and she headed the Field and Field & Tab teams at ORC International.

In her new London-based role, Beech is tasked with building closer relationships with key clients and focusing on continued operational improvements in sample delivery, survey design and development of best practices. As part of her remit, she will also liaise with the other regional heads to ensure that solutions can be scaled effectively across offices globally.

She will report to Regional CEO Martin Filz, who comments: 'We are at a critical stage in the research industry, with technology and client requirements moving at a pace like never before. Having Emma in the team will mean we are ideally placed to drive the business forward and continue to provide our clients with the highest quality research services.'
