Nielsen Hires Product Marketing Strategist

In New York, Nielsen has appointed former Salesforce exec Harish Peri as Senior Vice President of Product Marketing, across its Ratings and Planning products.

Harish PeriPeri (pictured) joins from Salesforce, where he latterly served as Senior Director, Product Strategy & Solutions for the Data.com brand. This role included leading a team managing the Dat.com industry and vertical solutions. Prior to this, he worked as a VP at BlackRock and earlier Barclays Global Investors, which was acquired by BlackRock. He began his career as a Senior Developer at UBS.

In his new role, Peri will be responsible for driving all aspects of Nielsen's 'Reach' product marketing strategy and execution, including all aspects of the client experience, and the continued growth of the firm's portfolio of 'Total Audience' measurement solutions.

He will report to Marcy Shinder, Chief Marketing Officer, and Megan Clarken, EVP Global Product Leadership. Clarken comments: 'Enabling Total Audience measurement for advertising and content on behalf of our clients and the marketplace is a top priority. Harish's passion for technology and solid digital experience will make him a valuable asset to both Nielsen and our clients as we evolve our portfolio of solutions.'
