Guidance Hires for New Retail Strategy Practice

US consultancy Guidance is launching a Retail Strategy Solutions practice and has named eCommerce veteran Brian Beck to lead it.

Beck takes the title of Senior Vice President, brings more than sixteen years of eCommerce and omni-channel experience, as both a retailer and consultant, and will be based in the firm's Marina del Rey, California office. He worked most recently as Interim VP of eCommerce at Pacific Sunwear of California, and worked previously at discount retailer and former Guidance client Harbor Freight Tools, and as COO of OvernightPrints.com.

The new division will offer retailers and manufacturers strategic roadmap planning and execution, customer experience optimization, analysis of digital marketing opportunities, organizational planning and development, and advisory services.
