Lithium Launches Communities Suite

US-based social media solutions firm Lithium has launched a portfolio of products to help clients respond to customer needs across social media channels and communities, and share the resulting insights across their organisations.

Rob TarkoffLithium provides 'social customer relationship management' (SCRM) solutions, to enable clients to create and manage their own social media customer networks, as well as Lithium Insights, a tool which measures and benchmarks the 'health' of online communities.

The new portfolio includes:

  • the Shared Dashboard and Lithium Monitor Wall, which help teams gain insights on customer trends and issues in real-time
  • Experts and Mobile Agent features to enable customer care execs to respond to customer issues
  • Integrated Profile, which helps better understand customer activity across all types of digital properties; and
  • Ratings/Reviews, to help users to see which products or services are faring well.
Lithium is also unveiling Value Analytics, a feature that uses integrated surveys in conjunction with analytics built into the firm's community platform to measure community return on investment (ROI).
