New BI Tool Tracks Business Services Sector

July 14 2015

UK-based business services marketplace blur Group has announced the launch of a Business Intelligence product giving data on global business services e-commerce trends and markets.

blur Group is a public company listed on the LSE and with sales offices in the US and Europe. The new 'blur Data' online dashboard analyses trends by geographical focus, technology and industry verticals, and promises to inform users about which technologies are on the rise, and how changes in demand will shape company strategy. Clients can also dig deeper into project variances, budgets and time lines while planning their own projects, to make better decisions about pricing, forecasting and procurement.

Data sources include blur's own data from thousands of global services projects, as well as external sources.

CMO Jon Hogg comments: 'With blur Data buyers of business services can be better informed in terms of sourcing, project costs and timelines, allowing them to set expectations and budgets. Predicting how long a project is likely to take from kick off to completion will bring a whole new level of control and agility to enterprises'. CEO Philip Letts says the launch underpins the firm's commitment to the medium and larger enterprise.
