Ipsos Hires Path to Purchase / Shopper Leader

In New York, Ipsos Marketing has appointed Nagisa Manabe in the new role of Global President of the Path to Purchase & Shopper service line.

Nagisa ManabeShe reports to Lauren Demar, Global Deputy CEO of Ipsos Marketing, and will take charge of rolling out a global offer and capability for the Path to Purchase business, which focuses on understanding and influencing consumer touchpoints driving purchase choice. The division will also partner with Ipsos SMX on social intelligence solutions in the area of digital path to purchase.

Manabe's more than twenty years os marketing experience include work for P&G, Unilever, Diageo, Campbell's, and Johnson & Johnson, but most recently she was Chief Marketing & Sales Officer for the United States Postal Service. She holds an undergraduate degree from Yale University in Economics & Japanese Studies, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Demar says the new business line builds on many years of shopper research expertise, bringing it up to bear on 'today's digital decision journey and the impact of e-commerce'. She comments: 'Nagisa is the right person to lead this charge.
