Customer Intelligence Specialist iJento Acquired

UK-based marketing analytics, customer intelligence and targeting firm iJento has been acquired by 'business building' investment company Blenheim Chalcot for an undisclosed sum.

Charles MindenhallWith bases in Oxfordshire, New York and Sydney, iJento offers a platform that identifies and combines disparate cross-channel customer data, to create a single view of the consumer. The solution delivers a variety of visualization, segmentation and analytical tools that predict, target and personalize customer experience.

Buyer Blenheim Chalcot numbers more than 40 firms in its portfolio, in a variety of sectors, and supported by a range of services covering technology, marketing and sales, recruitment, accounting, legal and property. The company says it plans to combine iJento with its existing engagement and behaviour analytics technologies, to help businesses assess cross-channel customer activity and maximise its value in real-time.

Commenting on the acquisition, Blenheim Chalcot co-founder Charles Mindenhall (pictured) said: 'iJento's integration of web data with CRM, call centre, marketing and sales data and its stitching of individual visitors journeys across all these systems is still unique in the market. We are going to deliver that technology now through our cloud platform and combine it with our other engagement and behaviour analytics and intervention technologies'.
