YouthSight Launches SnapMe 'Vox Pop' Service

March 15 2016

London-based YouthSight has introduced a new 'vox pop' service called SnapMe, allowing clients to get video feedback from members of the firm's OpinionPanel community via their smartphone cameras.

Tatenda MusesengwaBased in Shoreditch, London, the company offers research among the youth, student and young professional sectors. Its OpinionPanel community provides access to more than 135,000 16 to 30 year olds, including school students, university students, applicants, graduates and young people out of employment.

Using the new SnapMe service, clients can capture video feedback from young consumers, gain access to more than 200 profiling data points, and add tailored screening questions. Turnaround for twenty complete videos is normally 48 hours with full transcription as standard, and editing services available.

Client Services Director, Tatenda Musesengwa (pictured) comments: 'Through this service, our panellists benefit because they increasingly prefer making short, snappy research engagements and they are rarely away from their smartphones, so SnapMe is fun, quick and convenient. For our clients, we've found they increasingly want to understand consumer perspectives by getting a candid and honest opinion delivered via video. SnapMe offers them a new way to bring colour, texture and context to their research'.
