WPP's FITCH Buys Hong Kong CX Specialist

WPP retail and brand consultancy FITCH has taken a majority stake in StartJG Hong Kong, which like its new owner has a focus on customer experience design.

FITCH is part of WPPStartJG Hong Kong was previously part of independent network the Start Group, was founded in 2009 and employs around 40 people. Revenues were HKD 31.1m for the 12 months to 31st March 2016. It will now be known as FITCH Design Ltd, strengthening FITCH's presence in China.

Continuing its policy of saying at least twice as much as Apple about the specific reasons for its acquisitions, WPP said the move furthers its strategy of investing in important markets and sectors.
