Mobee Upgrades Crowdsourced In-store Data Platform

December 14 2016

US-based in-store data specialist Mobee has added a number of new features to its platform, which uses crowdsourcing to collect, organize and analyze consumer data at scale for retailer and brand clients.

Hal CharnleyMobee's enhanced platform enables users to choose who collects insights; what type of information is collected, whether objective and observable, 'sentiment-like', or task-based; and where the insights are captured, including in-store, at home, or on the go. New additions include audience targeting for insights by demographic and behavior; data integration for combining insights with existing sales and other data; and a faster analytics engine. The firm says the crowdsourced solutions can be used for in-store audits, mobile shopping, competitive price intelligence, lift analysis and more.

CEO Hal Charnley (pictured) comments: 'The market is demanding platforms over point solutions, and the competition has missed the mark. While we still collect observable data with our crowd of consumers in store, our enhanced platform now allows for collection of multiple types of data, by a public or private workforce, across thousands of locations or on the go. Legacy vendors simply can't provide that level of flexibility'.
