Former Kantar Exec George Pappachen Joins Research Now

Digital data collection specialist Research Now has hired former WPP / Kantar exec George Pappachen for a newly created position, EVP Corporate Development & Strategy.

Pappachen (pictured) most recently served as President of Global Products and EVP, Strategy and Business Development at Kantar Media. Before this, he was Global Strategy and Business Development Director for WPP's Data Alliance; and earlier in his WPP career, he was the group's first Global Chief Privacy Officer.

In his new role, Pappachen will help develop strategies to drive growth, while expanding the firm's reach into research and data-related technology platforms and marketing services. In a statement, Research Now said Pappachen's responsibilities will also include: 'ensuring the company stays on the leading edge of the rapidly evolving data-driven and multichannel marketing and market research landscape, while orchestrating new initiatives across various company functions, including sales, marketing, and product development'.
