Interscope Co-founder Alison Chaltas Joins Ipsos

In New York, Ipsos Marketing has appointed Alison Chaltas, the co-founder of shopper marketing consultancy Interscope, as Global President, Path to Purchase.

Alison ChaltasChaltas (pictured) joins with a background in retail strategy and consulting, eCommerce and shopper insight. For the past two years, she has run her own marketing and sales consultancy, prior to which she served as EVP Shopper & Retail Strategy at GfK, having previously co-founded Interscope, which was acquired by GfK in 2010. She began her career in sales and marketing positions at Procter & Gamble, before working as a consultant at advisory firm Meridian Consulting Group.

In her new role, Chaltas will lead the Path to Purchase team, and manage and develop a portfolio including LIFE Path, which provides an understanding of decision making within a category, from purchase trigger to channel choice, and final product selection.
