Sample Answers MD Phil Bird Steps Down

UK-based firm Sample Answers has announced that Managing Director Phil Bird will be leaving the business on 30th June 2017, eighteen months after joining. He moves to ITWP, the holding company of Toluna and Harris Interactive.

Sample Answers has offices in London, Amsterdam and New Jersey, USA, and provides both off-line and online sample worldwide. It announced an investment from private partnership EXIMS at the end of 2013. Bird, who was previously DP Director and Head of Data Development and Delivery at GfK NOP, said the decision to leave had been 'hard' but added: 'I feel that I have achieved all that I set out to do and that the time is right to take on new challenges in my area'.

EXIMS' Jeff Altman said of the news: 'We are delighted for Phil to have this new opportunity and sad to see him go. We are all grateful for the manner in which he has set the company on a new course. Sample Answers will continue on the path which Phil has set with Mark Dent in the role as caretaker CEO until a successor for Phil Bird is appointed, hopefully in September'.
