New Data Head for Australian Analytics Firm TEG

In Australia, ticketing, live entertainment and data analytics company TEG has hired former Dentsu Aegis exec Mazen Kassis for the newly created role of Managing Director of Data, Digital and Technology.

Sydney-based TEG comprises eleven companies including TEG Live, which focuses on live content, hospitality and sponsorship; TEG Rewards, which provides an online permission-based research panel in Australia and New Zealand; and TEG Analytics, which offers data, analytics and intelligence services to the live entertainment and sports industries in Australasia. Kassis (pictured) joins from Dentsu Aegis company Data2Decisions, where he served as Marketing Analytics Director. Before this, he worked for the NSW Treasury as Manager, Centre for Program Evaluation; he was a Biostatistical Consultant at the Mercy Corps; Director, Statistics and Analytics at Forte Securities; and Biostatistical Officer at NSW Health; and a Statistical Consultant with the Australian Bureau of Statistics.

In his new role, Kassis will join the senior leadership team, overseeing the TEG Analytics, TEG Rewards, TEG Digital and Softix ticketing software brands. His remit also includes driving integration and commercial focus across the firm's data analytics, market research, loyalty programs, digital marketing, and ticketing technology platforms.
