WPP's Grey Buys Full-Service Agency Sensio

WPP communications agency Grey has acquired Paris-based full service creative, technology, data and media agency Extrême-Sensio (Sensio) for an undisclosed sum.

Grégory PascalFounded by Grégory Pascal (pictured) in 1998 and led by Lucas Denjean, Sensio has a team of 75 staff and revenues of approximately EUR 7.7m for the year ended 31st December 2016. Its services include marketing impact analytics and data consolidation, ad tracking of all online campaigns, and measurement of off-line results. The firm also offers Symfony web creation software as part of its SensioLabs Insight tool, which is used to analyse the quality of web and app codes.

In a statement, WPP said the move is part of its strategy to put greater emphasis on growth in Western Continental Europe, following the UK's decision to leave the European Union; as well as a more general strategy to invest in growth markets and sectors.
