Mobile Campaign Analyst Kochava Buys MobileRQ

US-based mobile campaign analyst Kochava has acquired mobile app personalization platform MobileRQ, for an undisclosed sum.

Charles ManningMobileRQ's platform takes data from clients' apps and other business sources, and then automatically determines and dynamically delivers relevant content, user experiences and messaging to users. The solution can be used to automate responses to user behavior inside an app, web site or store; display custom app content for a user or group of users; and send special offers and messages to users when they meet specific criteria.

Following the buy, Kochava says the MobileRQ platform will provide its clients with the ability to create custom-targeted app content, while gaining access to its push notification, customer relationship management and content management capabilities. The entire MobileRQ team will join Kochava, including co-founder and CEO Tyler McKinley, who becomes VP of Marketing Automation Platforms; and co-founder Darin Glatt, who joins as Director of Engineering.
