WPP Buys Brand Strategy and Design Agency Design Bridge

WPP has acquired London-based brand strategy and design agency Design Bridge for an undisclosed sum.

Sir William GoodenoughFounded in 1985, the firm offers a range of brand language, communication and experience solutions, along with innovation services, product design, and brand identity analysis. It also has operations in Amsterdam, New York and Singapore, with a further office planned to open in Shanghai, and currently employs more than 400 staff worldwide. Revenue for the year ended 31st December 2016 was approximately £40m.

Design Bridge will remain a distinct and independent brand within the WPP group. Sir William Goodenough (pictured), Executive Chairman of Design Bridge, comments: 'Our next phase of growth will see Design Bridge's unique approach to strategic brand design come alive for more clients and in more parts of the world more often.
