MetrixLab Names Greater China MD

Netherlands-based online research and marketing analytics specialist MetrixLab has appointed former Nielsen exec Brady Ni as Managing Director for Greater China, replacing Edwin Song who moves to a new regional role.

Brady NiMetrixLab opened its office in Shanghai in 2012, and then merged with Japanese online specialist Macromill two years later. The firm also has locations in Singapore, Korea, Japan, and India, as well as across the US, Latin America and Europe.

Ni (pictured) joins with fourteen years' industry experience. Most recently, he worked for Nielsen Great China as VP - Local CPG and Business Development, heading up a 100-strong team and overseeing client and business development across the region. Prior to this, he was Manager - Business Development Consulting Services China, for Euromonitor International in Shanghai. Song, whom he replaces, joined in 2012 from Ipsos Greater China where he was MD, Market Understanding & Measurement, and worked earlier as Synovate's MD, Capabilities. He will now take up an Asian regional role which the firm says will 'support the growing needs of these markets'.
