In Paris, Havas-owned social media unit Socialyse, which combines technology and monitoring tools with the skills of analysts, has appointed Philippe Torloting as Chief Operating Officer.
Launched in 2011, Socialyse creates measurable social media campaigns based on insight derived from consumer data. Torloting (pictured) joins after eleven years at Publicis Groupe, where he was Deputy General Manager of media network Blue449. Before this, he served as Digital Strategist for the group's marketing agency Moxie, where he also held the position of Innovation Leader. Later, he created Permormics, Publicis Groupe's first social media department, and he then helped launch the group's 'Social Tools' benchmark platform. Earlier, he worked for Publicis global marketing and technology agency DigitasLBi as Social Media Consultant and Head of Digital Accounts.
In his new role, Torloting's responsibilities will include developing new offers - influencer marketing, listening, performance content, etc. - leading the organization of the global trading team, connecting the agency's international network, and strengthening and driving the development of global business.
