In New York, iHeartMedia has appointed former Yahoo! insights leader Michele Madansky as EVP of Insights, Research and Data Analytics.
Madansky (pictured) will join on November 27th after a decade running her own online media and marketing research consultancy. Before this, she was VP Customer Insights at Yahoo!, where she built a team from nine to 40 researchers supporting product, marketing, sales and corporate initiatives. Earlier, she founded and developed Grey Advertising's marketing mix modeling analytics division Grey Insight Partners, and she held strategy roles at Beyond Interactive, Avalanche Systems, and BBDO where she started her career in the Marketing Sciences group.
In her new role, Madansky will develop and manage a variety of data and research efforts including ratings and measurement, programming analysis, music research and campaign measurement / attribution. Outputs will include audience and consumer analytics across iHeartMedia's operations, from radio and television broadcasting to live concerts and events, syndication, and independent media representation.
She will report to Peter Ban, EVP of Revenue & Sales Operations, who comments: 'Michele has an expansive track record providing cutting edge analytics for a wide variety of today's biggest media companies.
