ProdegeMR Adds Mobile Verification to Panels

November 15 2017

US-based survey sample firm ProdegeMR has added mobile phone verification to its global proprietary online panels.

Mendy OrimlandProdegeMR provides 'people-driven insights' from more than 40 million members. The firm now uses a two-step authentication process requiring that its panelists validate their e-mail address (double opt-in), while also verifying their mobile phone number. Daniel Ross, SVP of Product, says this moves the firm beyond traditional verification methods, to enhance identity validation.

SVP Mendy Orimland (pictured) adds: 'The advances we are making in respondent verification methods go beyond just the traditional double opt-in email approach that most companies have relied on for decades. Mobile devices are now the primary means of accessing the Internet, so it only makes sense to leverage the device that is constantly in the hands of our members and make it easier for them to take surveys on the go'.
