Bazaarvoice Plans 100 Hires for New Belfast Office

US-based word-of-mouth specialist Bazaarvoice has opened a new office in Belfast, Northern Ireland, where it plans to hire more than 100 sales and customer service employees over the next three years. The firm has also hired Sophie Light-Wilkinson as Vice President Marketing EMEA.

The Bazaarvoice Network is used by more than half a billion consumers each month to view and share ratings, reviews and curated visual content, across 5,000 brand and retail web sites. With the resulting data, the firm helps brands and retailers find and reach consumers with targeted advertising and personalization solutions.

Light-Wilkinson (pictured) joins to oversee all Bazaavoice's EMEA marketing initiatives, generate new business opportunities, and lead customer retention to further expand the EMEA business. She has more than ten years' experience in senior marketing roles and was previously Global Senior Director of Marketing at predictive marketing software company Rocket Fuel.

In her new role, she will report to recently appointed Joe Rohrlich, EVP and General Manager of EMEA, who comments: 'Sophie has vital experience in driving go-to-market strategies for fast-growing technology businesses, and I'm delighted to welcome her to the team'.
