MetrixLab Hires Former Affectiva Chairman as US Lead

Digital research agency MetrixLab has appointed Nick Langeveld as President of its US business, a new position based in its office in Norwalk CT.

Nick LangeveldPart of Japanese company the Macromill Group, Netherlands-based MetrixLab integrates multiple data sources to offer 'high-quality insights at scale, at speed and for an unparalleled value', in areas including product innovation, brand engagement and customer value.

In the new role, which he starts today, Langeveld (pictured) will develop and execute the company's US business vision and strategy, with a particular focus on integrating MetrixLab and recently acquired customer and influencer research firm Acturus.

Langeveld worked most recently as an EVP at Kantar in North America, and prior to that at Affectiva, from 2011 to 2017 - rising from Business Development Director to President and CEO, then Chairman. Earlier he worked at The Nielsen Company for seven years, and for IBM and Goldman Sachs.

He reports to Jan Willem Gerritsen, Executive Officer, who comments: 'The US is a crucial market for MetrixLab, and we are at a pivotal time in our history here. The acquisition of Acturus has presented our rapidly growing US business with even more opportunities for expansion. We need an exceptional individual with the vision, expertise and commitment to lead our US team to achieve our growth objectives. I am confident Nick is that person'.
