MeaningCloud Enhances Text Analytics Offer

Text analytics and semantic analysis specialist MeaningCloud is launching a series of 'Vertical Packs', intended to improve analysis by adapting to the vocabulary of specific 'domains' such as HR, marketing or customer experience.

MeaningCloud Enhances Text Analytics OfferMeaningCloud offers plug-ins which promise to extract the meaning of any kind of unstructured content, from social media conversations to internal files - and can be embedded in applications by means of a pay-per-use API.

To maximise 'meaningful and actionable insights', the firm says analysis must be adapted to fit the context, and the new Packs combine a set of pre-prepared semantic resources (models and dictionaries) and sophisticated analytical APIs with add-ins for Excel, specially adapted for each scenario. This also removes barriers to the configuration of systems.

The first two Vertical Packs cover Voice of the Customer - 'To analyze the feedback of customers in surveys, the contact center, or social media and in industries such as banking, insurance, or retail and categorize it according to the type of product, attribute of quality, channel of interaction, or sentiment'; and Voice of the Employee - covering the opinions, competences and concerns of employees expressed in surveys, performance assessments and exit interviews.
