Chinese Firms to Develop Video Analysis Technologies

In China, marketing data and technology provider Miaozhen Systems is to invest an undisclosed amount in tech-based consulting firm MaLogic, as part of a partnership deal through which the firms will jointly develop video analysis and image recognition technologies.

Wu MinghuiMiaozhen combines consumer behavior analysis with multidimensional data, to help clients optimize their retail stock strategies, advertising, production costs, supply and marketing, and increase overall ROI. In addition, its 'Miaozhen Marketing Cloud' integrates ad tracking, budget optimization, insight, DMP, programmatic advertising service and marketing automation.

The partnership links these solutions with MaLogic's capabilities in market insights and intelligence, advance brand management, big data analytics and customer experience strategies. The partners plan to integrate online and off-line data sources to track consumer journeys from initial contact to purchase, for clients in the retail industry.
