App Data Platform mParticle Launches Xbox SDK

December 14 2017

In the US, app data platform mParticle has launched a software development kit (SDK) allowing brands to collect data from their Xbox games and apps and combine it with customer data drawn from other platforms.

Michael KatzNew York-based mParticle, which recently raised $35m in investment funding, provides a platform which helps mobile app developers collect, organize and synchronize data from mobile web and apps; and design and run personalization campaigns. Its latest launch supports native client-side data collection across more than ten digital platforms, and enables the unification of data cross devices and channels into a merged profile, which can be connected to more than 175 marketing and analytics platforms. Through the Xbox SDK, mParticle supports client-side data collection on connected TV devices such as Xbox, Roku and Apple TV, and on mobile through iOS, Android and Google's AMP.

CEO and co-founder Michael Katz (pictured) comments: 'As the customer experience continues to become more decentralized, there is a greater need to centralize all customer data. Adding Xbox support is just the next step in helping our customers get the most complete view of their customers. We will continue to add support for more platforms, including Google Chromecast and Amazon Fire TV, in 2018 and beyond'.
