Online research and marketing analytics firm MetrixLab has opened a new office in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and appointed Diego del Pozo Mitschele as Managing Director for the country.
MetrixLab, which was merged with Japanese online specialist Macromill in 2014, collects and analyses data from millions of consumers in more than 50 countries. The business is headquartered in Rotterdam and San Francisco, and has additional offices across the US, Europe and Asia. Pozo Mitschele (pictured) joined last month from GfK-owned online panel specialist Netquest, where he was Commercial Director of the Southern Cone region, covering Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. Prior to this, he held senior roles at Kantar Worldpanel, Ipsos and Nielsen BASES.
In his new role, Pozo Mitschele is responsible for growing the Argentinian client base and team. He reports to Rebeca Dreicon, who leads the company's Latin American operation from her base in Brazil. Jan Willem Gerritsen, Executive Officer, comments: 'Latin America is an extremely important region for our clients, and we've seen demand for projects here grow significantly since we opened our Brazilian office in 2014 and our Mexican office in 2015. Diego has the expertise and connections to help us expand our global footprint further in Argentina, and we're excited to have him join the team'.
