LAC Group Shuffles Senior Team

In the US, information management firm LAC Group has promoted Robert Corrao to the role of Chief Executive Officer, replacing founder Deborah Schwarz who is moving into the newly created position of Chief Strategy Officer.

Robert CorraoFrom its headquarters in Los Angeles and office in London, LAC Group offers a range of services for competitive intelligence and research, spend and cost management as well as knowledge management. Since launching in 1986, it has grown to employ nearly 400 staff. Corrao (pictured) joined in 2009 as Group President, since when he has worked with Schwartz on the acquisition of several business units, streamlining operations, expanding internationally, launching a virtual research offering, and building and launching new business lines. Before joining, he co-founded non-profit The Asher Foundation and served as President of library, research and information management software solutions provider SoftLink.

Commenting on the changes, Schwarz said: 'Rob has been instrumental in building up LAC and guiding its growth, he's the right choice to prepare our company to be a much larger information services organization. As CSO, I'll focus on developing new business and LAC's projects and plans for growth'.
