LiveRamp Buys Pacific Data B2B Marketplace

In the US, Acxiom-owned customer data 'onboarding' specialist LiveRamp has acquired B2B data marketplace Pacific Data Partners for an undisclosed sum.

James ArraSeattle, WA-based Pacific Data Partners was founded by former Amazon, BlueKai and Oracle execs, and enables businesses to bring in data from sources including tech and data companies, credit bureaux, and local, state and federal government agencies. Using over 50 billion records from more than 700 datasets, the firm helps business activate data across sales, marketing, business intelligence, HR and other departments.

The company's co-founders Pieter De Temmerman and Grant Ries will now lead LiveRamp's efforts to expand its IdentityLink solution, through which brands can gain insights about the entire customer journey across devices, channels and platforms.
