Three Hires for MRSS India

Research firm MRSS India has announced three new senior appointments, Sreyoshi Maitra as VP, FMCG; Mr.S.T. Kalairaj as Head of its Pharma Practice; and Priyanko Sinha as Client Servicing Director, Digital Insights & Marketing.

Established in 2012, the company is a subsidiary of Asian firm MMRSS and offers a wide range of tech focused market research services including eye tracking, mobile analytics, video analysis, online communities and neuroscience. It is India's only listed MR company, and last autumn reported net profit of Rs 4.51 crore ($US 693k) for the half year ended September 30th 2017, up from 1.69 crore ($US 260k) a year earlier.

Maitra brings fifteen years of experience analysing consumer behavior and joins from Nielsen where she spent nearly eight years, most recently as Head of Shopper Insight for South Asia. Earlier, she worked at Kantar firms Millward Brown and IMRB International.

Kalairaj has strong experience in Healthcare/ Pharma and FMCG, having spent seventeen years client side: he worked at Cadila Pharmaceuticals before spending more than seven years apiece as AGM Market Research at Panacea Biotech Ltd and then MR Deputy Head at Ranbaxy. Since 2013 he has worked at provider firms Tangram Research & Consultancy and Insights Mundo, and most recently for three years in private equity, for Fulcrum Venture India.

Sinha has five years of experience, with a focus on social media analytics and online reputation management - both client servicing and in operations management. This includes eighteen months at WPP firm Social Wavelengths and most recently three years at Netscribes India Pvt.

Chairman Raj Sharma (pictured) says the three come 'with a long track record of successive stints with several organizations' and will greatly benefit the firm and its clients.
